We wouldn’t be an Artistic Development company without offering music. In this class, students get to explore different instruments from Bells, Piano, Guitar, and Rhythm sticks, to Castanets, Kalimba, Frog Guiro and Singing Drums! Likewise, Cultural Collective Arts exposes our students to various styles and genres of music from Classical and Sacred Music, to Rock and (appropriate) Hip-Hop. We also dabble in creative writing - where songs stem from ultimately. There are a myriad of ways to express ourselves through the art form of Music, and we strive to utilize every route! 

Dance has always been a staple art form because of how diverse it is. Cultural Collective Arts offers a wide range of dance genres to our students; Modern, Contemporary, African Dance, Tap, Hip-Hop, Krump, Ballet, and more! Our dancers are well rounded and have performed with and for top companies around the US and abroad!  

In this new age, social media is a huge part of culture. Photography is more than posing to post, but an art form. Here, we make students aware of how powerful images and videos can truly be. We give them another way to voice matters that are important to them, and teach them how to capture life in a meaningful way. They also learn how to edit to accentuate their brilliant creations! 

Art has always been one of the best ways to express human emotion and culture. With this class, it’s not just about drawing or slapping paint on a canvas, but digging deep inside who each student is, and bringing it to life through outward expression. To create a portrayal of what words can not express through tangible mediums. 

Fashion is ever changing and growing as culture changes. While we teach students how to sew and patch up clothing they may want to save or upcycle, we also give students the freedom to explore designing their own brands, and push them to be as original as possible.

Let’s be honest, most of our students are… characters. In this class we explore play and skit writing, as well as monologues and collective scenes from established films, plays and musicals. The children learn how to direct their emotions to bring characters to life, and work together to portray a whole new world to us! 

For a very long time this class has been missing in our schools. While it is important to know how to take care of yourself as an adult, we realize that having basic kitchen and home knowledge even at a young age can be a tremendous help not only to students, but to you - the parents. We make snacks and small meals and are exposed to different kinds of foods from different cultures in this class. 

Our Boys and Girls Empowerment classes are dedicated to teaching students that they can do and be whatever they set their mind to. We talk about many of the issues they are facing into today’s modern world, and give them tools to navigate through the different prompts and scenarios we come up with. Activities include making vision boards, skits and role playing, podcasting, actual problem solving, and many more! 

In this class we focus on all things health and fitness! In addition to learning how to play sports and their history, students will gain more knowledge about nutrition, how to handle equipment, and how to create and maintain a fitness plan! With the constant advancement of technology in our world, it’s no secret that our children have many devices to distract them. In here, we find the best ways to stay active AND have fun!

WE NEED MORE PILOTS! As you know by now, Cultural Collective Arts wants to take a different approach to what is fun. In this class we explore different aircrafts and how they fly! We even make small functioning models and talk about engineering. We love to sing and dance, but we want to expose our students to more than the arts! You never know when you’ll need a pilot :) 

In addition to providing open instruction and enrichment in a structured classroom, Cultural Collective Arts also offers private  Music, Acting, and Dance lessons to students and parents who really want individualized instruction.
